St John’s Hospice charity will host its fourth annual Light up a Life ceremony on Wednesday 2 December at 6pm, in Alder Grove Church, Balby.
The evening will feature carols, readings, and musical performances, creating a warm and reflective atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy refreshments and hot snacks before and after the ceremony.
As part of the fundraising tradition, everyone who donates to sponsor a light will receive a special Light up a Life tree decoration. One decoration can be dedicated and placed on the Tree of Lights during the service, while a second keepsake decoration is given to take home and display on their own tree.
A suggested minimum donation of £10.
