Tickets are now on sale for the St John’s Hospice Summer Raffle, giving supporters the opportunity to win a selection of great prizes while helping to raise essential funds for local hospice care.
St John’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to patients and families across the community, relying on charitable donations to help sustain its services.
Fundraising Manager Jenny Baynham said:
“For more than 30 years we have been supporting local patients and families, and many people in our community will know someone who has been in our care.
“To continue providing this level of service, we need to raise over £680,000 in charitable funding each year. Every contribution, including through our raffle, makes a real difference.”
She added:
“We are very pleased to have the support of independent opticians Parkhurst and Co of Doncaster, who have generously sponsored this year’s first prize by donating a pair of JS sunglasses with single vision lenses worth over £350. We are very grateful for their support.”
Other prizes include a £150 Love2Shop voucher and a luxury picnic hamper with a £50 Love2Shop voucher, and a whole host of other prizes.
