Over the festive period, St John’s Hospice held its annual Christmas Raffle, which proved to be a record breaker, raising an incredible £4,000.
Thanks go to the local people and businesses who donated prizes and to everyone who bought and sold tickets, helping to make this year’s raffle the most successful yet. The generous businesses that donated prizes included Barks of Sprotbrough, Cannon Hall Farm, Co-op Auckley, Doncaster Town Fields Sports Club, Hungry Horse Cumberland Pub, Marks and Spencer Wheatley Hall Road, Petals Florist, Sarah-Jane’s Tearooms and Coffee Lounge, Tesco Balby, The Grape Kitchen Wines Tickhill, and Toby Carvery Edenthorpe.
Hospice Fundraising Manager Jenny Baynham said:
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our Christmas Raffle this year. The generosity of local businesses and the community have helped us raise a record amount, which will directly benefit the patients and families we care for.”
