Our fundraising priorities

Our funding priorities include:

A good start

We provide a wide range of services for children and young people to support their physical, mental and emotional health across North Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire. Most children across these localities will come into contact with our services in their developing years.

We focus our fundraising efforts to support our children and young people in some key areas.

Our best self

Mental health care and support is at the heart of what we do. From NHS Talking Therapies to inpatient care, we provide high quality mental health, community and learning disability services across Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire’ along with drug and alcohol recovery services in Doncaster.

Promise 18 in our trust strategy (opens in new window) commits to invest, support and research the best models of therapeutic care, increasingly involving those with lived experience and expert carers in supporting our patients’ recovery.

Powering research

Research is vital in providing the evidence we need to transform services, improve outcomes, as well as developing, redesigning, and strengthening models of care.

Promise 28 in our trust strategy (opens in new window) commits to extend the scale and reach of our research work every year.

Promoting education and learning

Learning is vital to the ongoing delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

We have ambitions plans to raise funds to build and develop an Education and Learning Centre, which could include state-of-the-art educations methods such as simulations suites and training on new technology such as artificial intelligence, virtual reality and dementia virtual experience.

A good death

We believe that everyone deserves the best possible end of life care and support.

End of life care is not only about the patient, it’s also about the support we give to their loved ones. From diagnosis, through to bereavement, our services touch the lives of local people with life limiting conditions, both within our inpatient settings, and in the wider community.
